Ive heard countless people tell me that they know someone who knows someone who left the UK and ran up a huge bill on their credit card because the authorities cant do anything, is this just an urban myth or can they chase you accross the world for your debts. Anyone know any facts.

Getting an online credit card debt consolidation has its own benefits like, the approval times are shorter, the process is hassle free, with no processing fee and near zero paperwork. The interest rates on debt consolidation can also be compared online and the best deal can be reached right from the comfort of your home.

Credit card debt consolidation loans can be of two types- secured and unsecured. As the name suggests a secured credit card debt consolidation loan will require a collateral, and since the lenders are getting something to bank upon if a person defaults on repayments, the interest rates, amount of loan and repayment schedule on secured credit card debt consolidation loan are favorable than those with unsecured credit card debt consolidation loan. The reason for high interest rates, low loan amounts and relatively tight repayment schedule with unsecured credit card debt consolidation loan is the lack of collateral. The lenders feel the situation risky and hike the rates to offset the risk. Read more from: http://www.credit-card-gallery.com/credit_card_debt_consolidation.html

Seems more like a question for Scotland Yard than travel experts.
A credit card company is world wide. I can't imagine that they couldn't get you no matter where you are.
Don't be a crook. Try to represent the best of society, not the worst.

To prevent that only Australian Citizens or permanent resident are able to get a Credit Card in Australia. So, I do not think this is possible.

Hi,weather you can do it and get away with it doesn't matter.
The thing that matters is it the correct thing to do morally and you will be on edge all the time, phone ring, who might that be,door rings, peep out the window,a stranger their ,who might he be.a letter come with a overseas stamp .
Do the right thing by the credit card company, they will go to NO expense to get the monies back and you will have a criminal mark against your name.
Who know when you are 17 years old you might wish to get married, and with a credit mark against your name will not be eligible for a loan,Do the right thing,if you don't have the money,go and speak to the credit company ,they WILL help you but don't do a runner.
Good luck Waltz.
