Sounds like the casette is wound forward all the way. Try rewinding it. If that doesn't help, then I would imainge your VCR is toast, and it's probably time to get a DVD.

I would have to agree with the poster above. Get a DVD player, they are so cheap now. You can even get a DVD VCR combo for an inexpensive price.
