I broke up with my ex, because he was phsyco, 11 years older than me, and immature. He also cheated on me. During the time we lived together he physically and verbally abused me.
I saw him mons. after breaking up. I had seen him before, but never spoke, he would stalk me, watch my house, say if he can't have me no one will, and leave me horrible messages on my phone, or car.... One day he saw me in wal-mart, I had a long day at work, it was about midnight, and I was with a male co-worker. He freaked out on me... It took 3 employees to get him off of me and make him leave. I didn't press charges, but I decided to get a restraining order after he said how he was gonna kill me and my sisters next time he saw me. He lost his job over the situation after he broke the restraining order a few times. He needed his job, but his boss likes me better than him, should I feel bad?

As hard as it may sound - if you start to feel bad, you'll end up feeling DEAD!!!

If you ever give this psycho a chance, then one of two things will happen:

1) You will end up right back in the abusive relationship you were in before - and he will make up for all the "lost" abuse time immediately!

2) He will get close enough to physically hurt you again (and most likely a LOT more than that too)

You got lucky last time at the Wal-mart - if he EVER comes within a mile of you, start running and call 911 on your cellphone. And make sure you have one on you at ALL times!

Threatening phone messages CAN be considered a violation of the restraining order - and stalking is ILLEGAL for anyone to do...

Just because you feel sorry for the loser doesn't mean that you have to put up with all of this - press charges next time, and get out of town (and state if possible!) while he is locked up. Your life will only get better once he is long gone - even if that means giving up this new job!

Girl.... you need to get away from him for good. You are never going to be able to move on while this creep is in the picture. I am so scared for your safety. I think you need to find a friend's house to stay with for a couple of weeks, or somewhere that he won't be able to find you. Press charges. He will do this to someone else and he is too crazy to realize that his behavior is only making you like him less, not more. This is a game of control for him -- you need to get control back and your life back. I hope you can find someone or some group (there are places to go for other women in the same situation) to help you. I am sure you are very sweet and don't deserve this.... please! Don't feel bad for him. That is what he wants and you are fueling the fire by playing his twisted game. Good luck

Feel bad?! NO! Stay away from this guy...he is bad news. He reaped his own reprecussions by his own outrageous actions. I would actually buy a stun gun or something if I was you. If you even have to ask if you feel bad, you may have some co-dependancy issues which you need to work on. This could be the reason you were with this scumbag in the first place. You deserve much better. No one should be disrespected like that ever! Its not appropriate.

NO!!!!!!!! Why in the WORLD should you feel bad.....??? HE needs help and some jailtime quite frankly! Dont enable him and if you feel bad for him that is what you will end up doing....

Good luck I hope everything works out--But I really think you should have pressed charges (Not that it is my business)

Hell no. It's his problem. He's the lunatic. He's in trouble because he's got a bad temper, he's controlling, and physcially abusive. He's a danger to you and to other people. He's not in trouble because of his association with you.
