Jesus did not say that the rich go to hell. Jesus said that it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than to enter the Kingdom of heaven. He said this because the rich spend so much time trusting in their money rather than trusting in God. The rich and poor have the same fate they will both die and be judged. The only ones that go to heaven are the ones who accepted Jesus Christ as their Savior. All those who have not accepted Christ as Savior will go to hell, and be eternally separated from God.

He did not say that. He said, "it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of God."

The young rich man had asked Jesus what he needed to do to get into heaven, and Jesus listed some of the commandments, which the man affirmed he kept. Then Jesus said that the rich young man should give his possessions away to poor people and follow Jesus. That made the rich man unhappy, because he didn't want to do that.

And by the way, Luke 16:25 says, and I quote:
But Abraham said, Son, remember that thou in thy lifetime receivedst thy good things, and likewise Lazarus evil things: but now he is comforted, and thou art tormented.

Jesus never said the rich have to go to hell. Jesus said that in his parable, that PARTICULAR rich man went to hell.

Jesus DOES make it plain that money can be an obstacle. "The love of money is the root of all evil," says the scriptures, and "It is easier for a camel to pass through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the Kingdom of God." However, God abundantly blesses some people, too.

Whether you go to heaven or hell depends not on how wealthy you are, but what you believe about your own sinful human nature and what God has done to reconcile you to Himself.

He never said the rich have to go to hell. He just said it's tougher for them to get to heaven, because they tend to have more issues of pride, being too attached to material things, selfish, etc. And the poor don't get an automatic free ride into heaven. Rich or poor, it's how you live and the choices that you make that decide where you end up.

That's just your interpretation. Jesus said that riches alone won't get you into heaven. Faith is what gets you into heaven.

Jesus is not unjust. Nor is He unfair.

Jesus didn't say that at all. He just said it was harder for rich people to go to heaven. That is completely different than saying they are all going to hell. If there is anything worth than someone cherry-picking the Bible and taking verses out of context, it is someone like you cherry-picking the Bible and not even getting THAT right!

The scripture you are referring to is describing a man who treated people (one servant in particular) worse than a dog. He did not follow what Jesus said about, loving your neighbors. It also says, it is easier for a camel to enter through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of heaven. Back in that day entrances to the city were called needles. It was not easy to get a camel to pass through it. However it was possible. The bible also says, anything is possible through God. I believe the verse you are talking about is referring to anyone holding anything higher than God. He also says this about family. I understand how people feel about this. However, according to the bible. God is Almighty, the creator, able to give and take life. He requires obedience and us to put him first, if whomever wants eternal life. These are not direct quotations.

You have interpreted this all wrong. First off, this is a parable, not a true event. It was meant to teach, not to be taken as sheer truth. The rich guy goes to hell because, while he was on earth, he indulged in materials and not in God. The poor man was just to God and that's why he went to heaven. He didn't go to hell because he was rich, he went because he forgot God and sought material faith.

Rich man, Poor man, Beggarman....
Judge not lest ye be judged.
Justice belongs to the Lord.
Jesus Christ cannot be unjust. He is the symbol of justice.

In my understanding I think that is a figure of speech...

like the poor go to heaven, the ones that try to follow God, in what is possable for them personaly. they will go to heaven.
the rich, are people who think of them selves, have no respect for life unborn or born, and donate a big amount to a charity for the good reputation....

I don't know if my understanding is correct, but thats what my understanding is.

It's hard for "rich" people to get into heaven
a bit easyer for the "poor"

But it is Gods descision who does or doesn't get into heaven, his kingdom.
