*shrug* Whatever. I don't believe in your interpretation of the story. And am kind of suprised that as someone who has the "mental capacity" to think happens to believe in a very fundamentalist interpretation that you put forth.
To answer your points:
"(1) This story was copied from the babaylonians."
No it wasn't. At least to the best of our knowledge. There is no known *exact* story like it.
"(2) There were cilvilizations at the time of this so called flood that were taking detailed chronological records, and the odd thing is that they did not realize their own destruction. "
Oh...did you just take the stance of a fundamentalist interpretation of scripture? Why...yes you did. Ha! Idiot.
You're interpreting scripture as a fundy and saying it can't be true because of your interpretation of it. What a hoot!
"(3) I will have fun kicking the first christian in the *** that trys to feed my children this Junk."
Lovely. I don't think an impotent *** like you can have kids, so not too worried about it. It'd actually require LOSING your virginity, so I think we're safe.
"(4) please respond!"
Responded in the same tone it was written in. Read into it what you want me to read into your question. Personally, I say grow a set then ask it in a more rational manner. Or at least a manner that doesn't make YOU seem like the idiot that can't interpret ancient literature.

Any idiot can provoke, by typing nonsense here (as you proved). Does this make you popular? (no) Does this prove anything about your intelligence? (actually, it says more than you know)
Do you have any idea what England was like, before the bible hit, there? do you know what people DO to each other, and how life beyond 20-25 is near impossible without some semblance or adherence to "order" and morality? (those '10 Commandments' are worth a ton, when you go to places without religion -- and see what happens to children, women and understand that human competition = what we call crime)
Firstly, was the Old Testament written by christians when Christ didn't hit the scene, until he born (hey, Einstein?) While you're more laughable (than you know) and your cliche'd observations might 'play' around your own circles? --it should be Common Knowledge that the stories, parables and writings in the Old Testament are not only taken from spoken amalgems from many of the cultures of the MidEast (over 1,000s of years), but were and are quite effective in building a frame of experience. What YOU are doing, is what you're trying to mock -- you're actually closing your mind, like you're in a HS cafeteria and trying to point at a group.. to gain favor of those like-minded here (or so, you think). Facts are: with the volcanic activity and plate tectonics there -- and that the Medditerrean has swallowed-up entire cities, and wasn't there really just a geographical blip away in the past.. -- that this MIGHT HAVE BEEN a tidal wave that was talked-about, down over 100s of years.
While of course, you are a know-it-all.. and smugly ensconsed in your anonymity here ( a soapbox, wouldn't you say?) -- you discount the lessons of a society that was evolved and sophisticated, and the notion of spirtuality and human life for 50,000 years and better. Why is that? (Because today's headlines disagree with your desire for gay-marriage? because you have some misguided hatred that you feel is fueled by media, and in some circles you'd LIKE to be associated with.. as in christians = GWB = laughable?)

Considering that you have probably never read the Biblical account of this event, nor even did any serious investigation into it, your opinions are baseless and not worth much. I am providing some web sights if you wish to educate yourself:
http://www.answersingenesis.org/
http://www.worldwideflood.com/
http://www.icr.org/
1. It is the other way around. Have you ever read "The Epic of Gilgamesh"? Didn't think so. If you wish to be educated on this matter, see this link:
http://www.icr.org/index.php?module=articles&action=view&ID=414
2. Do you know this for a fact? Are you basing this belief on dating methods that are at best, an educated guess?
3. If your children are of the elect, and are destined for salvation through Christ, there is nothing you can do about it.
4. Just did. Have a good day.

I honestly dont understand why nonbelievers get pissy because believers believe, anymore than I understand why a believer would throw a fit over a nonbeliever doing what comes naturally. Not everyone is meant to believe, so naturally they will not believe.
Its not rocket science. If you dont agree, put it down and walk away, dont let other believers badger you into some sort of frenzy. Its just not right. It just makes us all idiots for trying to control what people have faith in.
As for the account of Noah, even in the archaeological, historical, and scientific world battles back and forth with their findings. Often in favor for, and equally in favor against some large flood. Whatever the physical evidence may some day suggest, there is simply no way of knowing what really took place thousands of years ago without some sort of personal conviction and faith, since NONE OF US WERE THERE.
As for the children dying, there are holy and unholy offspring, the children may be innocent in their hearts and God saves their souls, but their distruction is the same that the hands of their fathers brought on them. It might not be pleasant, but it is biblical truth, and all the more reason to live selflessly for the sake of our children.
We all do what we believe to be right by our children, so lets continue to do so, without teaching them to hate others for what they believe.

Yes children had to die too. All of the people were warned. They could have been saved too.
However don't worry about the people who didn't make it on the Ark. 1 Peter 3:18-20 states, For Christ died for sins once for all, the righteous (Jesus) for the unrighteous (us), to bring you to god. He was put to death in the body but made alive by the Spirit, through whom also he went and preached to the spirits in prison who disobeyed long ago when God waited patiently in the days of Noah while the ark was being built.
Kick me if you must (charges will be filed) but, I try to tell everyone about Jesus.

Well, for your first comment on your P.S. note: How do you know who wrote the story first? Were scientists there when it happened?
2. When exactly did the flood happen, and how did archaeologists date the records of other civilizations? How did they interpret these records?
3. Your children have their God-given free will to choose what to believe, despite how hard you try to not believe in the One who died for your sins. You might wish to consider that before you start resorting to personal attacks and crude violence on Christians and others. That doesn't set a good example for children, and it's frowned upon by much of modern society.
4. I have responded and I will pray for you as well.

Almost all civilizations have a flood tradition. Seeing as the Babylonians had the story in their history, it only serves as evidence it did indeed happen.
And God can resurrect children.
Your assumption concerning those people is just that; an assumption. Too bad you didn't bother reading the narrative. You would have read the reason for their destruction.

what is saying is that the children can be corrupt too, because their parents are corrupt. the children would have grown up to be like their parents. the moral of the story is to say that man corrupts itself, and destruction can be the only answer. if you believe its nonsense, im fine with that, but remember that a lot of the world is christian, and some of them wouldnt accept a religion blindly. I personally think that this "so called flood" had happened, and their's probably some rationale explanation for it.

Maybe Noah was a Babylonian. That means everyone alive today originally came from Iraq. If so, God must be mighty mad at the USA right about now!

Haven't you ever thought yeah God killed the Children, however isn't a better gift than life, being with God forever? Children who are innocent and pure but are not yet old enough to know God do not get sent to Hell.
PS where are your sources on these "facts"?
