I want to know, the difference between a Video Card and Video Driver (if there is one)

and the difference between a Sound Card and Sound Driver.

Can I download any Video Driver or sound driver?
so, if i was on the net could i just download a nVidia video card thing? you see, 2 days ago i had to restart my pc with a fresh copy of XP, and thanks to you all I got my sound back and my graphics. now i need to know since alot of curious things got me going, can i download a nVidia graphics card?
or do i gotta buy one?

it's really simple. the card is a physical card. the driver is the software that drives the card. you can not download a card. it's impossible to download a physical tangible thing you can hold in your hand.
you must buy a card.
the driver you can download off the manufactures website.

a graphics cards is a piece of hardware. a graphics driver is a piece of software that tells windows wat the piece of hardware is and wat it does. no u need to buy a graphics card its not software its hardware.
