Why do you think God isn't real when he is?

While it's unwise to allow oneself to direct their life based on the idea that a God is real, I wouldn't go so far as to say a God doesn't exist either, simply because I don't know enough to make that decision.

I can look in a telescope and see planets, stars, galaxies, but I can't fly up and touch them let alone do I know where they come from.

Until this and other mysteries of life are solved I choose to reserve my judgement and keep an open mind on both sides.

God is real. It just isn't a He. God is, in my opinion the power and force of nature that controls everything in the universe.

Not a thinking cognizant being that is making decisions and judging right or wrong. In reality if we do 'right' we will better work with the laws of nature and will possibly be in 'Heaven'. That is happy and content in our lives. If we act contrary to the laws of nature (God) then we might be in hell - unhappy, sick etc during our lives.

Obviously Christians would disagree but I don't see how any non-believer could dispute this.

Because there is no way that we could have taken millions of years to evolve into human beings but instead we just took thousands of years to stay the EXACT same that we are now. God is a form of guidance, hope, and a source for some sort of answer. No one wants to accept the fact that we are indeed some random occurrence in mother nature. Dogs could have turn into us if they were part of the same random occurrence. I don't bash religious people for believing what they believe unless they say "you are going to hell for sucking so bad". just kidding they've never said that but i DO hate when christians hold themselves higher than people like me.

Because a smart person plays the odds: If God does not exist but I live my life believing He does and follow His Commands, I have lived a good happy moral life with little ore no regrets. If God does exist and I live my life as if He does not then I risk His Wraith when I die

It is always better to play the odds, only a fool plays Russian Roulette

There are two kinds of reality and most people don't bother to seperate them.

Believers know God exists in their subjective experience.

Atheists know God does not exist in objective reality.

The root of the problem is that most ancient thinkers and most modern believers are solipsists.

-In truth, there was only one Christian, and he died on the cross.
-In Christianity neither morality nor religion come into contact with reality at any point. /The Antichrist, section 16
-The Christian resolution to find the world ugly and bad has made the world ugly and bad. /The Gay Science, section 130
-God is dead.

Isn't this a question that is like - what came first - the chicken or the egg?
And who's to say there's no GOD?
And who's to say there is a GOD?
Who says if there is a GOD if it's a male or female?
All I ask for is that people don't push their religious beliefs on me, for when they do, I find it very offensive.
Kind of like PDA's - no one wants to know what goes on in my bedroom and I don't care what goes on in yours.
So keep your religious opinions to yourself, or political and I think the world would be a better place?

My final questions - what created the earth? What created that that created the universe? If you say GOD - what created God? If you say "BIG BANG THEORY" - what created that?

All kind of mind boggling.

Everybody has their own beliefs. Just like you believe god does not exist.

Stop being such a fool and a darned hypocrite and if you do not like something keep your noise out of places!

In the first place how do you know God is a he. God is everything, he came to Earth in the form of a human: Jesus Christ! That is how we know there is a God, because of Jesus Christ. Jesus is God and human at the same time. Try to believe in him and I guarantee that you will see a huge enormous difference in your life.

God bless you.
