we dated for over 8 and haven't talked in about 1. i'm about 90% sure that i'll run into him next week at a concert . I'm totally happy now but in that 1 second i might have a chance to say something and i don't want to blow it. keep in mind that i don't want to be malicious either. maybe something that will leave him thinking about me for a few minutes though:)

If you are happy with where you are in your life then you should be content with , "Hi! How are you?" and a hug.
It sounds to me like you are not completely content with how things ended and you want to remind him of what he's lost. My advice to you would be to leave the past in the past. If you are meant to be together you will find your way back to each other without being cute ore clever about it.

Wow, you sound so conceited, like if you talk to him, he's going to melt into the floor because he can't have you anymore. Maybe he's moved on. Maybe he's dating someone who's perfect for him. Be an adult, try a grown up conversation, and forget about snide. If you are confident and comfortable, it will work better than if you try to snide him, he'll only walk away thinking, "Wow, she still hasn't gotten over it."

lol You think about it forever and then you hope you say the right thing and then you will play it over and over in your head. You need to remember he is probably thinking the same thing you are..wondering what to say to you.. Just be yourself you dont need to impress him anymore just say " hi, how have you been?" see how he responds and then take it from there ..If you have been together for that long things should fall into place.make sure you tell him that it was great to run into him again..if you feel it tell him " hey, you got my number if you need anything "..good luck

Try not to plan anything....if a moment comes for a chat, cool, but have no expectations, keep it general....if U all see each other a nod of acknowledgment is perfectly acceptable....go with the flow and definitely have lots of fun!!

Be NICE!....Say, "Hi"....Give him a big, 'genuine' smile and be on your way....making any rude or distateful comment won't do anything but make you look mean and bitter. If you are happy, show it, you can be too busy to talk if he wants to talk. Be friendly, look happy...Trust me, he'll remember!
