I have a really great boyfriend, but lately, he has been really protective of me. Its like he is always watching me. When I talk to other guys he just gives me this look like, "You better stop talking to him." Its almost like he thinks I am his possession. I appreciate the fact that he cares about me so much, but I think this is just going to far. I have already talked to him about but that doesn't seem to do anything. What should I do?!?

If you've voiced your concerns, and he has no reason not to trust you, and his possessive actions have reached the point where they are disruptive to your relationship...then I say its time for a change. No girl should have to worry about getting in trouble for who she talks to. I had a friend who had an incredibly jealous bf. He tried to control everything she did. Even told her if she pursued bartending, which she really wanted to do, or modeling, which is her dream, he would break up with her, bc he didn't like the idea of her out in the spotlight in front of guys. He put down her choices, but she stayed with him, cuz she thought she could change him. She had never had a bf who didn't fall all over her, and couldn't believe he didn't do the same. Eventually, she realized how unhappy he made her, and that she didn't deserve that treatment. She broke up with him seven or eight times before it stuck. She just thought that if she left he would miss her and change his behavior. Since she realized that would never happen, and left for good, she has meant many nice guys who treat her much better. If this sounds at all like your bf, then say goodbye for good, you deserve better.

YES, ewww..when they start getting possesive, thats a clear sign to let them fly...it will only get worse, i have been in that position twice..it only causes more and more heartache in the end.
