Over the course of a year, which one is better. Who has done the math? How about the Gas rate also?

This rate offer is closing July 1, 2007.
The new Epcor regulated (default) rate is ~$0.10 /kWh
Since neither EnMax (EasyMax) nor Epcor offer a time-of-use rate for residential service, the math is very easy.

Go with the 7 cent rate.

7 cent/kWhr is a pretty cheap rate. If it is fixed, I would go for it (because I am paying 8.5cents where I live).

As for the gas, I like the plans where they take your yearly average (high useage in winter, low in summer), and bill you based on the average. Some of my winter gas bills are 'killers'.
