I'm married to a wonderful man, and he loves me more than life itself. I've never been very physically attracted to him, but I love him a ton otherwise. I met a guy a while ago, and I'm really stuggling with him. He seems like a better guy than my hubbie. I'm a Christian, and I've always been faithful. I definatly want to stay married and I don't want to cheat. How can I control my affections for this other guy. He likes me and I can't avoid seeing him.

You do need to avoid seeing him. Tell him that you like him as a friend but that is where it stops. If you are talking about flirting at work, you should find another job. It is never good to build a fantasy into something like this. Stop it now before you cross the line. You will never forgive yourself and your husband won't either. Want to divorce? Think about it.

It's simple like you just said. Control yourself. That's all you can do. Either that or be shallow and divorce him for the better looking guy. Whatever you do tho don't cheat.

Lots of black women dating and married to Asian men here in the DC area. Same-sex marriage is also legal here in DC. You must live someplace weird like Idaho where there are no black, Asian, or gay people.

Why can't you avoid seeing him... There is not such thing as I can't there is such thing as I don't want to... Believe me once you cross that line, there is no way back... Even if your husband doesn't find out about it (99.9% of the time they do) it's something you will have to live with... So ask yourself this, can you live with it???
