That depends on your gender and your weight. There are formulas all over the internet to help you figure a rough approximation. Just google resting metabolic rate.

this is called your resting metabolic rate and it is different for everyone. it differs due to genetic makeup, weight, height, age, gender...factors like that. it also changes as you get older because you're metabolism gradually slows down over time. in order to to get an accurate count you'd have to visit a nutritionist. here's a good website with more information and one that might be able to give you a ball park estimate. http://www.caloriesperhour.com/tutorial_BMR.html

average person -- 1200-1500 if sleeping and sitting. Will depend on body mass though in your particular case
