you just totally contradicted yourself, you say you love him and all but you let him go outside where he gets beat up from fights and you see him acting abnormal and you are sitting at your computer asking questions on here?
he should be at the vet. ANY abnormal behavior should be examined by the vet. if you can't afford animals don't get them!

You need to at least contact the vet. This sounds very serious. By contacting the vet it will only cost you a phone call but they will be able to give you the best advice on what to do at home. Also if the vet does say you need to bring in your cat maybe you could work out a way to pay your vet in two weeks. You could write a post dated check and ask the vet not to cash it until that date.

My girlfriend's cat starting sleeping a lot and refused to eat or drink water....we finally had to take her to a vet after 5 days....I think this is a sign they are really sick when they go off into a corner by themselves.
You might try giving him some cat grass..you can go to a pet store to find it...it's good for them to eat when they are not feeling well. Maybe get some vitamin water and some good food for him.
My girlfriends cat is doing ok now, we give her celluar defense 3 drops 3x a day. It's about $34.99 plus shipping.

Sounds like a liver infection or disease of some sort. The shakes are either from a fever or his body is going into shock. This cat does need a vet, would it be possible to call the vet and see if they will allow you to pay later or could you borrow it from a friend or a family member? Just out of curiosity, what do you feed him?

You really need to get him into a vet. Even if you have to post date some checks for the vet, whatever it takes! His liver is not processing properly that is why the yellow is showing up on his skin, it is called jaundice. He needs to be on fluids, vitamin and antibiotic injections. Yea, he will need to spend some time at the vets to get his liver/kidneys back up to par. This is something you need to do now, not in two weeks, it will be to late then. Longer you wait the hard to reverse the problem....Talk to family/friends to help you out ..

He could have gotten in a fight with another cat. when cat's get really mad and bite, they release a certain poison. your kitty may have gotten bitten by another cat, if he is turning yellow, then that means that his liver is shutting down. there are pills for that, so take him to the doc right now. my cat had this happen a few years ago and we took him to the doc and they gave him some pills. just ask your vet if you can get some sort of payment plan-or else kitty will die.

If you can't take him to the vet now chances are he will not make it the night by the sounds of it. He could have a liver or kidney problem by the sounds of his skin yellowing, or a infection from scratches from other kitties. Either take him to the vet and borrow money to cover it or watch your kitty suffer and die...if you cannot afford to get vet care for your pet when they are sick, which usually happens when you cannot afford it, then you should not own a pet.

Sounds as if he is having a seizure. He needs help NOW!!! Please beg or borrow the money from somewhere or call around to different vets in your area to make arrangements due to your financial situation. I pray your kitty is up to date on his shots and has his rabies vaccine up to date. If he does not have his rabies up to date, DO NOT touch him! Wrap a thick blanket or towel around him to put him in a crate to transport him to a vet or humane society where they will help you and him. The possibility that he has rabies is quite serious! Do not get scratched or bitten because if he has it, you can get it. If he does they give you a long series of shots through your abdomen into your spine. Very painful!
Get this cat help NOW!!!
Andrea
P.S. THIS IS AN EMERGENCY SITUATION!!!

Ask a family member for money and get him to a vet as soon as possiable, if he's family then someone will understand. You def should not wait 2 weeks. Most vets dont offer payment plans. Their is a credit card specially made for anmials ask you vet she/he should know i cant think of the name of it.

I would say he was poisoned and now his is going in to seizers [you said he was shaking] I would just take him to the vet, i know its not an option but if you want him to live it might be your only option. He might die if you don’t take him to the vet soon... Besides vets normally will do payments with you if it is an emergency!
God Bless

You MUST take him to the vet. Ask them to work out a payment plan with you. They might do it since it is an emergency. If one vet refuses, go to the next one. Good luck.
