last year i signed up to this home business network $175 was deducted form my checking account through my debit visa card. last month i requested my refund back and they are refunding my money back but their could be one problem, the account that they duducted the money from is now closed. are they suppose to cut me a check? or is the bank suppose to transfer the refund into another open account within their branch because i have another open account within the same bank? who is responsible for giving me back my money?

whoever owes you the money should just cut you a check. but contact them and let them know the situation so they know the reason for this.

I would make sure the company is aware of the closure of the account and provide them with the new account to which the funds are to be refunded. That should ennsure that the funds arrive in the correct place and reduce any delays.

Since, that checking account is closed. You need to go back to the bank and ask them to put a freeze on your account. This should prevent transaction from going through.

They should cut you a check. But most of these schemes are scams, so good luck trying to actually get your money back.

You need to call them to let them know how you would like them to give your money back. Ask them to cut you a check.

You need to call the company and make sure that they have the correct information so they can get you your refund.

It's their responsibility to pay you and it's your responsibility to make sure they have the correct information to do so.
