Honestly, blood prefers to go through the widest channels, and through channels which take the least amount of work.

For example, capillaries are very small, just 2 cell layers thick.

Its like childbirth.

In contrast, is the carotid arteries which go to the brain. The brain whores itself in blood. Those arteries are like watermelons and blood gushes in.
