The answers that said the Mercury Milan and the Ford Fusion are absolutely right. The Fusion and Milan both beat the Camry and Honda Accord in style, handling, and quality. The Camry has been having some problems lately, but no major things with the Fusion and Milan. Ford also just surpassed Nissan and barely topped Toyota in quality. And just in case you were wondering, the Fusion and the Milan are the same thing, except for the 1,000 dollar difference. Also, if you want to go classier, the Lincoln MKZ is also a relative to the Milan and the Fusion, but now has a 10,000 dollar difference.

Looking for a new car?, check out the Hyundai Accent, it's really a nice little simple car that won't cost you a lot and it is great on gas, quiet and smooth riding. I have a 2006 4-door and I get about 30mpg city -33 mpg hwy. Also you get 10 year or 100,000 miles on the power train. If your transmission goes out before then they will replace it free. I had a Ford Explorer 2001 and it went out at 41,000 miles and Ford wanted $2000 to fix it. That says a lot about their 3 year warranty. That's why I now own a Korean car, they back up their quality with a 10 year warranty. Check them out, you will be surprised how nice they are.

To the Ford salesman below me: It is still 40,000 miles and 5 years shy of Hyundai's warranty.

The 2007 Camry's have had transmission problems so I would wait to make sure those are corrected, but Toyota Co is good about recalling and fixing problems and paying for them. I drove a Highlander Hybrid and it was so much nicer then then regular Highlander. I plan to trade in my Lexus for it in 2008. You might want to check out the new Hybrid Camry.

Starting in late calendar 2006, Camry Hybrid production moves to the Georgetown, Ky.

I would look at a Mercury Milan instead-it beat the Camry in pretty much every category.
