The poor baby is driving me crazy and I can't get her spayed until next month because I am on a fixed income.

You need to be VERY careful to keep her inside until she's spayed. Cats are induced ovulators - mating causes ovulation so they can get pregnant even when they're not in season if a male manages to get hold of them (being in season simply means they will welcome a male, they can still be jumped on when not in season). Furthermore, female cats come back in to heat every two weeks until they're mated, so you'll just have to stick it out and keep her close until she's been spayed!
Cats should be spayed before 6 months of age to avoid them coming in to heat at all.

i have a female cat and she goes into heat about every month for about a week but every cat is different, good luck with that

about a month or a couple of weeks. YOU MUST KEEP HER INSIDE!!!!!!!!!!!!!! unless you want kittens, of course.
