This should be at 8 weeks of age, as this is when the immunity derived from the mother starts to wane. The second course is given 3 weeks later.

EDIT: Hm, differing answers! Different countries vaccinate against different diseases (a cat shouldn't need a calcium shot, and too much calcium is dangerous) and different types of vaccine carry different protocols - best to give your local vet a call to find out what regime is relevant to your cat.

Usually 9 weeks for the first one, then 12 weeks for the next set and 16 weeks for rabies.

When they are at least 8 weeks old they need the first of 3 distemper shots, calcium shot, and their rabies shot.
