I havent changed her diet or anything. I was giving her cat replacement milk with some canned food and dry food because thats what they gave her when we got her. She ate fine the first few weeks but a few days ago she just took a couple nibbles and thats it. I have tried different canned foods but she wont eat anything. She wont even drink the milk. This morning when I gave her the food she sniffed it and acted like she wanted to bury it because she would paw around the dish? Any ideas?

The canned food is authority and have also tried friskies. The dry fod is purina kitten chow. She is going to be 12 weeks.

something must have gotten her sick as 2 days without food she should be starving.get a can of tuna and see if she;ll eat that; as kittens can dehydrate fast and can die.If she won;t eat the tuna she won;t eat anything... Get her to the vet as 12 weeks they are to young to go for to long with-out food ,She must have some stomach problems....They might have to shoot some water in her at the vet as she can die with out any for not long...Get the tuna now if you don;t have any; then go buy some. I have been with cats for 40 ys and if the won;t touch tuna than they are in big trouble....good luck at the vets ; i hope she;ll be fine..

Do not keep changing the food. Go back to the original formula and stay w/that. Is the food near her kitty box? Try moving the location of the food. Covering it up is a natural reaction for "saving it for later".

I'd get her to a vet quickly. A kitten that age cannot go long without eating.

you may be giving her too much food at a time, sounds like she eats what she can and is trying to hide the rest
