I'm actually someone who finds benefit from occasional fasting. How much you lose will have a lot to do with how much water you're retaining and how full your intestines are. Based on your height and weight, I'd guess you'd lose anywhere from 5-10 lbs. I fast to get sugar, salt, and additives out of my system. Then I try to avoid them in order to keep the weight off. I'm pretty thin, and I eat a healthy diet; but I use fasting whenever I start to feel that puffy feeling that proceeds weight gain. (I've never fasted longer than 3 days, 2 is usually enough for me.)

I lost about 5 but I did eat, only once a day. I just didn't feel like eating. I didn't exercise or anything and lost the 5. But you can probably lose anywhere from 5-10 depending on how many calories you. It takes 3500 calories to make a lb. So see how much you eat a day and multiply it by 3-5 then divide by 3500. that should give you a rough estimate of how much you can lose without exercising just not eating. But I'm assuming you know that's not healthy.

I've tried many diets and couldn't make anything work. Since having my first child, I've been carrying around an extra 30 pounds. This diet just made sense and showed me that everything I was doing before was wrong and a waste of my time.
The plan was so refreshing and so simple to follow. I did everything plan said and lost 23 pounds in the first three weeks. I'm now starting the diet again to lose 7 more pounds. This plan has changed my life.
Get started today!

at 160 you could probably drop 6-10 lbs but as far as actual weight that will look good - i wouldn't expect more than 1 to 2 pounds - the reason being, when your body is starved of food - all fat is held onto dearly and calories injested are immediately stored for future use (as fat) because the body has no way of knowing when it will get food again. - that's why people that have had great results seem like they eat all the time - the body knows it will be fed and gets rid of extra stores of fat -
for a few days you'll probably be fine though - one thing about a starvation treatment for a few days is that if you're doing it because of friends coming into town or the hot guy at the beach - (thats when I change, it's Ok we all do it) don't - often this diet will hold water and bloat spots you dont want bloated - for the HOT fix - lay off the sodium and alcohols for 5 days - this will cut you up fast and at the right spots

I've lost 5 lbs in 3 days from not eating. No, I'm not anorexic. I was on a greyhound bus trip from VA to TX with no extra money for food. When I finally got there my jeans were falling off of me! But as soon as I ate something, it all came back.

None you will lose only water doing that...
And you will get very weak....
What you want to do is Eat a good breakfast.. something with fiber.. a medium lunch.. add fruit if you get hungry between meals... a light supper and nothing after 7 pm.. but if you need to have a lil snack after 7.. eat a fruit or some veggies.. and drink a lot of water throughout the day.. especially before each meal...

Why do it? It will all be water and lean muscle mass and not an ounce of fat. Not worth it. You're better off eating healthy food and exercising.
I used to be 160 lbs so I know how you feel. But I lost 20 lbs in just a few months of better eating and daily walking. It's not that hard.
This is the only body you're ever going to have. Don't be stupid with it.

I hope you don't try that.
You'll end up binge eating & gaining much more than the weight you've lost.
Anyways, the weight you'll lose will be from muscle mass. To actually lose unwanted fat you'll need to excercise & practice portion control (not just stop eating..).
There are no quick fixes to losing weight. Being healthy is a lifestyle. All these diets that celebs use are fad diets & most people end up just gaining more weight than they lost in half the time it took for them to lose it & others end up in the hospital from dehydration or just plain not getting enough nutrients.
Oh, & not to mention the hunger headaches & dizziness you'll get from low blood sugar of not eating.
