talk to the doc. Because if you have strep between 4-6 months in a year, they can (or should) remove your tonsils. Strep is miserable and painful. I would seriously consider having your tonsils removed.

you just keep spreading it back and forth. First, you all need to be on anti biotics. Make sure you finish all the medicine, don't stop taking it just cuz you feel better. That just causes the strep to come back stronger. Second, wash your hands constantly, never share cups, glasses or eat off the same utensil etc. You can spread strep this way. Clean the house with disinfectant. Door knowbs counter tops etc. If you cough into your hand and then touch something the strep bacteria is now there. Good luck

The reason you've probably been having strep throat so often in your family is because your house is still contaminated.

If the germs are still infested in the things in your house, you'll never get over ANY type of sickness, because they'll just keep moving from room to room and you'll all keep getting it over and over.

Try cleaning everything top to bottom. Take vitamins to streghten your immune system and talk to your doctor about other possible ways to keep strep throat away.

A physician told us that if you get some triple antibiotic ointment and smear a little in each nostril (strep lives in the nose) each day it will help prevent recurring infections...

Ditto what everyone else has said. Also helps to get rid of your old tooth brushes after treatment.
