Was wondering what are some good sites (other than ebay) to find diecast cars. I'm going to start my collection and need some good sellers to buy from. I'm really psyched about this but I don't want to get ripped off. Also, any tips on the hobby are welcome too. Thanks!

I'm mainly looking for Jr. I'm also interested in Richard Petty cars, especially his Plymouth Superbird. I've been reading about NASCAR history, and some of those classic cars were cool looking.

I think I'll a get a 24 car and start a Hendrick Motorsports team of my own. Whod'a thunk it?!? Jr. and Jeff on the same team?!? I believe I can get used to it, though. Especially when big daddy Hendrick throws all that $ at Jr.'s car : )

Try goracing.com (RCCA). it for members only, but it costs
$15.00 for a lifetime membership.

and try beckett.com. its free to join, and just put what your searching for in the search bar, and it will show all the sellers that have it and how much the item is.

l've got a lot of diecast from nascar/store.com and team caliber.com. (l think it's Authentic Motorsports now) And l have pretty good luck so far on Ebay on finding some of the more rare cars, but be sure and research the seller before bidding.
One suggetion l might make is maybe decide on what type of diecast you want. The Pitstop and Contender series are the cheaper versions as where the Driver or Owner series are more expensive. But thet also have more detail.
And if you can get it, you might try the QVC Shopping Network show "For Race Fans Only" on Friday nights. But to be honest, about 75% of their diecast are Earnhardt...both Sr. and Jr. with a few other drivers thrown in ocassionally.
Hope this helps.

Ebay has been the best place for me, though I would only buy from either eBay stores or highly rated sellers. Gomotorbids.com is another place. The Nascar.com store sells them, and theres also rcca.com as mentioned above. Several driver websites have stores or links as well.

As for your collection, should definitely invest in a display case. You can get acrylic wall mounted ones, or a nice wood frame display. I bought a 48 car oak diplay cabinet from QVC. Looks really nice and it rotates so you can view all of the cars. One other tip, be sure to take very good care of the boxes the cars come in. That condition of the packaging helps determine the value.

In my experience it's best to find a local retailer so you can see the car and packaging before you buy. Action Authentics is probable the best but once in a while you can find the Winners Circle cars with all the sponsor decals. Good luck and have fun. My wife and I really enjoy it.

I've probably got close to 30 in my collection - what drivers are you interested in?

Eventually I'm going to get around to selling mine - I have several Gordon, Earnhardt Sr. and a few Jr. I had a brief ebay addiction several years ago.

If you want quality, go to the team websites or NASCAR superstore. If your trying to fill up a case with cheap cars, go to kmart. All my diecasts are from NASCAR.

If you decide to get the #24 cot diecast, check the front left fender to see if its within specs. LOL

Get yourself a "big rig" merchandise hauler and drive it to Michigan next week. Set it up next to the 88, 3, 8, 3/88, and Hendrick Merchandise hauler. Heck everyone else is making a Buck off of Junior, you may as well too....

I don't buy a lot of die-cast cars, but I know Jeff Gordon sells all kinds on his website. jeffgordon.com So I'm sure all the other drivers do too. I'm not sure how the prices compare to the other places you could buy them at though.
