I am thinking of creating a 'candy topiary' seen on Martha Stewart but want to create it with a brown/pink/white color scheme as opposed to random candy.

The candy topiary is fun ... you should think about getting personalized M&Ms and filling different sized/shaped apothecary jars and using those. That way they will double as favors. Provide baggies and cute stickers for the girls to fill and you've killed 2 birds with 1 stone :)

That sounds like a really cute idea. Off the top of my head, I really cannot think of anything with those colors for the wrappers especially since Easter has come and gone for the year. One suggestion I do have to offer, check out the candy stores in the mall around you. M&Ms makes the candies in a variety of colors. You could purchase a few ounces of the colors you want and need, then put about ten or so in small, celephane baggies to attach to your topiary. I imagine using thin ribbon of the like colors to attach them shouldnt be a problem. Good luck--post a pic of what you do, I'd really like to see what you come up with.

You can order any color you want from M and Ms. They sell bags of single colors, which is really cool.

Don't forget to order a little bit of sugar-free something. If you put candy on the table in front of a diabetic, it's nice to have something else to offer them. I just had a little 8 oz selection of sugar-free chocolates at our wedding, and it was very much appreciated by two or three people.

Congratulations, and don't forget to have fun with it.

You might also try salt-water taffy. It usually comes in white waxed paper wrappers, but you can see the color of the candy through the paper.

pink: jolly ranchers, raspberry(?) tootsie roll pops or dumdum suckers, (some) runts, dots
brown: snickers, milky way (i'd use the mini square size), tootsie rolls, chocolate tootsie pops.
silver: hershey kisses, 3 musketeers
white: dinner mints, blow pops,

smarties and sweet tarts both come in pastel-like (pink) colors.

I suggest you go to www.mms.com where you can order M&Ms that are the color of your choosing. You can even order them with personalized messages on them.

Goodluck!
