With fried or baked chicken:

potato salad
mashed potatoes and gravy
mac and cheese
fresh green beans with new potatoes
sliced tomatoes & cucumbers
pasta salad
cole slaw
fresh sweet corn
baked beans
steamed broccoli with lemon butter
steamed asparagus with butter
black eyed peas

The possibilities are endless!

Don't forget grilling outside is great too! Less mess and heat in the kitchen, and you can spend more time with the family!

Spiedini or kebabs, anything on a skewer is always easy and festive and fun. A cool pasta salad to go with the chicken. Finger foods like bruschetta, deviled eggs, hummus or salsa with tortilla chips.

Nothing too heavy, otherwise nobody will want to get in the pool! :)

That depends if it's your pool or you are driving to a pool. If you have to travel, think picnic foods.
