Im a guy, am 22 years old and up for anything that will get rid of these damn tyres I have been carrying around my stomach for ages. Yep, Im a little overweight but it seems so stubborn and wont shift easily. I tried running before for a few weeks and just eating meals (no snacks) and it barely reduced in size. I ran for about 20 minutes every day (that was until I almost collapsed! So I was well out of breath!). Can anyone give me some advice that does not involve expenses - I cant really afford the gym at the moment

lower the speed you run, and then run for longer at least an hour 20 minutes is short. do push ups and other toning exercises (sit ups) to help you burn the fat of faster. also have 8 small meals a day, it keeps your metabolism high. also drink water and not alcohol. if you wanna really go all out increase your protein and lower your carbs. but chhose low fat products such as tuna, chiken and other lean meets.

Only two things that work are diet and exercise. To lose weight you must be burning more calories than you take in. Exercise will help accomplish that plus tone you up. I here eating 6 or 7 small meals per day really, rather than 2 or 3 regular meals, really helps but I have never tried that. Walking 20 -30 minutes at least 3 times per week is safer, and in some ways better, than running. No expenses involved, just effort and discipline. Good luck.
