I know the usual ginger ale and orange juice or hawaiian punch, I need some more ideas without a ton of ingredients, just something yummy and simple.

There's not many party punch recipes that are alternative to the traditional one, and contain few ingredients. Here's some that I found if it helps:

Party Punch 2: INGREDIENTS

* 1 (10 ounce) package frozen sliced strawberries in syrup
* 1 (12 fluid ounce) can frozen orange juice concentrate
* 1 (12 fluid ounce) can frozen lemonade concentrate
* 8 cups water
* 2 cups brewed black tea
* 2 cups white sugar
* 3 cups light rum
* 2 trays ice cubes
* 2 (2 liter) bottles lemon-lime flavored carbonated beverage, chilled

DIRECTIONS

1. In a punch bowl, combine strawberries, orange juice concentrate, lemonade concentrate, water and tea. Stir in sugar and rum. Add Ice, and pour in lemon soda.

Big Game Punch: INGREDIENTS

*2 quarts cranberry juice
*1 pound clementines, not peeled, and cut into slices
*1/2 teaspoon ground cloves
*2 cinnamon sticks
*1 quart lemon-lime soda (recommended: Sprite)
*1 liter spiced rum (recommended: Captain Morgan's Spiced Rum)

DIRECTIONS

In a saucepan, bring the cranberry juice, clementines, cloves, and cinnamon sticks up to a boil. Remove the pan from the heat and set aside. This will infuse the tangerines and spices into the juice. Chill the infused juice completely.

In a punch bowl, whisk the chilled juice, soda, and rum together. Chill the punch completely before serving. Serve the punch in a pretty punch bowl and ladle into glasses filled with ice.

2 quarts raspberry sherbet or you may use vanilla ice cream or orange, lime or lemon sherbet

1-1/2 cups cold water

1-12 oz can frozen lemonade concentrate, thawed

2-1 liter bottles lemon-lime carbonated beverage, chilled

Spoon ice cream by tablespoonfuls into a large punch bowl. Add water and lemonade concentrate; stir just until combined. Slowly pour carbonated beverage down the side of bowl. Stir gently to mix.

Makes 32 (about 4 oz) servings.

Trashcan punch:

1 gal Sherbert Ice Cream (any flavor)
1 liter Everclear
2 liter(s) Club Soda
2 liter(s) 7-Up

Pour in the club soda, 7-Up, and Everclear. Stir. Loosen the ice cream from the container and drop it in whole. The ice cream will keep the drink cold.

Off hand I do not have the measurements, but a couple cans of frozen lemonade and a can of frozen OJ (all defrosted), a teaspoon of almond extract, a couple cups of water, a few cups of sugar, mix it all together, then add 7Up and to make it pretty add some sherbert (or make a colorful ice ring in a jello mold).

one of my favorites is Fresca or gingerale poured over lime sherbet, with an ice ring that has berries frozen in it floating in the punch bowl. As the ice melts and releases the berries, the flavors blend, it's great.
