Scientists are trying to prove that eldest boys are smarter, on average, on standardized tests, etc. than their younger brothers. However, these scientists unfortunately neglect the impact of eldest sisters in this equation. If a family gives birth to one daughter, then has a son, then another son, will the eldest daughter be smarter than her younger brothers, or will the eldest brother be smarter, even though he is not the oldest sibling? Discuss.

The oldest child is typically more driven than the following siblings, regardless of gender. Intelligence has nothing to do with birth order. Another waste of taxpayers money.
