i need some suggestions
i've been friends with her for a while but not long enough to get her something too personal. would money be fine??

Money would be fine. Or a piece of jewellery - a necklace, or some such.

Money would be great for anyone, though a little impersonal. I would try a gift card for somewhere she likes to shop.
Or you can always do what I've done in the past. For a friend of that relation, I buy a bag, like a purse or a cute makeup bag or something like that, and fill it with little gifts. Maybe some cute earrings or a little bottle of perfume. You can get some great items at Wal-Mart or Target for low costs, maybe even visiting the dollar or clearance section. My friends have always loved my gift bags.
Failing that, there's always the generic girl stuff, like candles, bath sets, maybe a hot new book...

Go to a local religious store and get something appropriate as a keepsake and give that along with an american express gift card. HAVE FUN!

I think money is nice,but then ur going to have to find the right amount,,,, mabe u should just go to a religious store and find somthin nice! GOOD LUCK!

try to find those things she's been talking about... i mean things she says she wanna buy but do not have the time or something like...maybe she would want a good book or a a copy of a movie she's been dying to see...
