LOL. Take your Marxist rhetoric and shove it.
Atheism is simply the acknowledgement of the fact that there is no evidence for the existence of a god.

Marx' true intent for scoiety that was misunderstood by Stalin was for a society to be able to cure it's own ills by reaping what they sow.
For example when they created highways they created them for the higher class to be able to commute from their suburbs to their office downtown, they ended up putting the people by the highway in a bad place. Those who had enough to move away did. The others sit and suffer and made it undesirable, lowered the property levels and thus lowered the class of the people there and the people who come there.
Marx wanted those suburbians to reap wht they sow by saying if you wouldnt want it in your front yard then why make it?
Socialism and communism are 2 distinctly different views. Look into it before you fly off the handle lil bush....

The truth is that Christian theology, like every other theology, is not only opposed to the scientific spirit; it is also opposed to all other attempts at rational thinking. Not by accident does Genesis 3 make the father of knowledge a serpent -- slimy, sneaking and abominable. Since the earliest days the church, as an organization, has thrown itself violently against every effort to liberate the body and mind of man. It has been, at all times and everywhere, the habitual and incorrigible defender of bad governments, bad laws, bad social theories, bad institutions. It was, for centuries, an apologist for slavery, as it was the apologist for the divine right of kings.
-- H L Mencken
God is the immemorial refuge of the incompetent, the helpless, the miserable. They find not only sanctuary in His arms, but also a kind of superiority, soothing to their macerated egos: He will set them above their betters.
-- H L Mencken
There is only one honest impulse at the bottom of Puritanism, and that is the impulse to punish the man with a superior capacity for happiness -- to bring him down to the miserable level of "good" men, i.e., of stupid, cowardly, and chronically unhappy men.
-- H L Mencken

I would say the same thing about the founders of Christianity.
How many millions of people throughout history were killed in the name of spreading christianity ????
How many were killed for atheism ?
My question right back at ya !
= Why don't christians see that the founders of christianity (NOT JESUS) were not as concerned with saving souls and connecting people to god, as they were interested in controlling the masses through fear and profiting from human suffering and desparity ?
Catholisism would be the worst case example of ideology gone horribly wrong. Gotta love that bling bling the pope wears huh ??...how about that Bently...NICE RIMS !....did you know he eats with gold plated forks ? HUMBLE & HOLY ?? MY @SS !
PS: I'm not an athiest, but I think christianity is BS. It's a control mechanism, for weak/closed minded people....

Are you serious? PLEASE! Stop with absurd ignorance! I love reading about people who say there is proof of the existence of a god! LOL What is the proof? OH this guy wrote this 200 years before another and they are almost the same doesn't cut it! Once again this is fanatical and this is why there are wars and this is why people with this approach cause wars because they force their OPINIONS on others because why? You think your better because you believe in something that is false, not real, made up! I mean this makes me laugh when people try to put down others because of their OPINIONS! Show me one thing that can be proven about the Bible! ONE THING!

Actually we're planning an anarchchal syndicalist commune. Each of us in turn will act as a sort of executive officer for the week, but all the actions of the officer would have to be raitified at a special weekly meeting by a simple majority in the case of purely internal affairs, or a two thirds majority in the case of more complicated...

I hope your not serious........we are not attacking the value system of ANYONE. It is because you have confused mythology with values that you fear we are attacking them. Our actual values are quite similar.
What I wish to do away with is superstition and the blind obedience to authority. How can promoting free thinking and personal responsibility lead to a dictatorship? If anything it will protect you from accepting one.
Congratulations though, at least you are reading books other than your bible. That is one step closer to thinking for yourself.

Uh, bullshit.
"It is possible, therefore, for the state to have emancipated itself from religion even if the overwhelming majority is still religious. And the overwhelming majority does not cease to be religious through being religious in private.... The emancipation of the state from religion is not the emancipation of the real man from religion."
--Karl Marx (Bruno Bauer, The Jewish Question, Braunschweig, 1843)
Does that sound atheistic to you?
