I have met one very popular regular face-to-face, though I prefer not to say who.
There are a few that I speak to on the phone regularly also.

Yes, most of the people I list as my friends I have talked to outside the context of Yahoo Answers. Mostly e-mail, a few people I've talked to on the telephone.
And there is one person I would really love to met.

yes, I communicate with people almost everywhere I go about R & S. Not the people here, of course but I want to share the Good News with anyone who has an interest in listening. Jesus is LORD.

Only one. He's a Christian, I'm an atheist, and we're so close we've exchanged over 12,000 e-mails since October, along with phone calls, gifts, etc.
We've been trying to get together, but circumstances are making this difficult at best.
Occasionally I'll send a note to say hello to other users, but I don't like to intrude so I usually wait to receive mail first.

on 360, and occasionally messenger. most of my contacts on here are people i knew before from 360. i've never met anyone face to face because most of my contacts are american and i live in spain but there are a couple who it would be really cool to meet if i lived closer.

No, I haven't had that privilege. Some of the chaps here I really would not want to meet, but others, yes, I would benefit from their insight and experience. Bit of a problem there...we are scattered all over this pretty blue rock of ours.

In real time, NO. I have not told anyone I am doing this kind of thing. I am real busy in "outside" world.
Once in a while someone contacts me through Yahoo email, that is nice when it is nice.

i talk to some on the phone
almost met one yesterday the person was six blocks away but i could not get away from work to go those six blocks and track him down he was only going to be there for half an hour and just timeing of it would not have worked out
other than that, theres been lots of "i want to meet you" plans that just never work out

No but I would. I would meet a select few. I think it would be a heck of a good time.
There are a couple I exchange emails with but thats about it.
