agree with my interpretation, does this make me an extremist? By 'mistreat' I am referring to nasty emails and such. What do you all think?

You would be what most people call a "protestant."
But a majority of the time, the "mistreatment" consists mostly of judging you, bashing your faith, damning you to hell, criticizing you, insulting your Holy Mother, and finally preaching to you the good news of their "interpretation." The nasty emails and such occur a little more infrequently.

If you "take" the Bible for what it says, you won't mistreat those who don't agree with your interpretation.
Each of us is a creation of the God of the Bible, each of us has intrinsic value and should be treated with love. That doesn't mean we just accept carte blanche any behavior, and out of love we should share what we believe and trust to be true, but it is ultimately the individual who makes the choice to believe as well.
We are not likely to win anyone over to our side using harsh methods or mistreating God's children.
If you believe that the Bible is truth, you have a high call to love even those who don't, especially those who don'e.
If you are harsh and dictatorial and meanspirited you may be an extremist, or you may just be misguided.
"Love not in the person his error, but the person; for the person God made, the error the person himself made."

I think that would make you a protestant or a Jehovah's Witness and that by emailing someone because your interpretation did not match theirs I think you would be lowering yourself to their level.
I get a lot of mistreatment from certain people's who think that only their interpretation is the correct one. But me myself rely on the Holy Spirit to interpret for me and not a mortal man/woman. Especially if their interpretation comes from a bible written by their own church

yes you would be an extremist.
but you would also be contradicting some of what jesus says about how to treat others as well.
so you wouldn't be a good christian if you mistreat others.

Not an extremist, just an ignorant, or maybe a criminal if what you did is a crime.

i think it will make you loose your point in whatever you are trying to say. how can you say one thing and yet behave in the complete opposite. that is called a hypocrite.
