I'm a guitar player that also plays drums. The Tama Iron Cobra is very good, and so are the ones by Drum Workshop. You may even have to go to cam-drive and not double-chain drive. Its hard to tell people who don't understand that when you get to a certain point you can't use mediocre gear - it just doesn't work well enough - like trying to win the Indy 500 race on kid's tricycle. If you really are going to do the speed drumming on the bass pedals I find that you pretty much have to use two bass drums or the sound gets muddied up because the drum just can't respond fast enough. I don't know if you do this, but its something to consider. The bass drum sound will be less "muddied up" if you use a double bass drum array - try it yourself once and see if you think you agree. Good luck!

There are a few really good double bass pedals out there. If you want a really good pedal that is not cheap but moderatly priced, go with a Tama Iron Cobra. I have 2 of these double bass pedals, one of them is over 10 years old and they are still as good as the day I bought them. I play professionally 2 to 3 times a week, so they get put to the test as far as durability goes. DW also makes some of the best double bass pedals out there. They are more expensive than the Iron Cobra and are very similar in my opinion. I do not own a DW pedal so I can't contest to the durability, but DW is known for high quality hardware, so I'm sure the duriblity will be good. I also only use chain drive pedals (more durable)

Go to your local music store and check both of these out. That way you can pick the one that feels the best to you.

it is unhappy information. He grew to become right into a experienced musician. even with the undeniable fact that i'm surely no longer DEVASTATED. it is greater, "Oh, wow, he grew to become into great, pity he's long gone..." in simple terms being basic. i would be greater of a injury whilst, say, Bob Dylan or Paul McCartney dies. Eek, i do no longer even decide to think of roughly that.
