My promblem is she wont were panties, she wants her diaper on she takes it off to go potty but wont wear anything but the diaper. any ideas on how to get her to wear the panties?
we have let her pick them out, bought ones with her fav person on them , try rewards ect nothing seems to work.

I would show your daughter the diapers you have in the house and tell her that when these are gone, she will have to stay in her big girl undies like mommy does. Then make the switch and don't buy more diapers.

I think the best thing to happen to potty training is The Potty Stool http://www.thepottystool.com I was skeptical that it would make a difference, but I never would have guessed how well it worked! My kids could climb right up to the toilet on their own and go. I like that I don't have to use or clean a floor potty and I love that my kids are safe and never have to touch the toilet with their hands!

The best part is that kids use it for years. Hope this helps

sounds like she feels more safe with a diaper on then her underwear. For startersa if you have her in diapers then change her to pull ups. If thats what she is already in the go out and buy some plastic panties and put thoese on her over the cloths panties. And just let her know that the plastic ones are just like a diaper only alot thiner and plastic. That it is there just in case she has an accedent.
You can also try something i did take away her favorite toys/toys. I did that and my son loves to wear his underwear norw. Hope this helps

I tend to agree with the above poster who advises not to buy diapers anymore. My sister developed a milk allergy as a toddler and she would not drink anything else. My mother kept the milk in a paper bag inside of the refridgerator and told her that we don't have milk any longer. She never raised the question again.

Don't give her a choice. Simply tell her diapers are only for night time (if she wears pull ups at night). She will probably cry and throw a fit but eventually you will win the battle. Good luck.

Maybe the way some people get rid of pacifiers... have a kind of ceremonial "throw away" of the item. Make it seem like its a rite of passage into being a big kid. Even pointing out that the "big girls" wear panties. This is how we got my son to let go of his pacifier and his pull-ups. We actually had him throw the pacifier into the garbage can. With my older daughter she said "bye-bye" to the pacifier and even "called" her grandmother to tell her it was gone. :)

We had the same problem with our twins. Lucky for us it was right on Christmas so Santa took the nappies away when he left their gifts. I have heard of people leaving them out for the fairies to take away and they leave a prize in return.
