I'm especially interested in the crocodiles, lions, eagles, bats, orangutans, and elephants. High predators or heavy eaters.

God commanded Noah to gather the food for the animals.

"And take thou unto thee of all food that is eaten, and thou shalt gather it to thee; and it shall be for food for thee, and for them." Genesis 6:21

Noah also took seven of each clean animal, and 2 of the unclean. It is possible that some of the clean animals were provided for food as well.

"Of every clean beast thou shalt take to thee by sevens, the male and his female: and of beasts that are not clean by two, the male and his female." Genesis 7:2

Notice that the Bible does not state that these were adult or fully grown animals. It is possible that they may have included infant animals and possibly unhatched eggs as well.

The whole flood process was controlled by God from beginning to end. God would have made sure that the animals would have survived.

Impossible question. Since within the last 70 years sightings have been claimed of Noah's ark even by various countries' military forces, why don't you go find it and tell us.

If the flood happened, and the ark was used, then us being here is proof of the success of that enterprise, isn't it?

Christians believe that this happened despite the scant data available. But, perhaps when it is too late for the nay-sayers then God may perhaps use such finds to prove his point.

Who knows?

I think we shall know within this generation. After all, the prophecy about the signs is being fulfilled as we speak.

The likeliest way it happened according to the bible was that all of the animals were freeze dried and FedExed to Noah in cellophane packages. After the flood Noah just shoved them overboard and they floated to their destinations. When water leaked into the packages they poofed back into animals.

Begin at Genesis 6 - or better yet go back to Genesis 1. It won't take you 30 minutes.

I'll paraphrase very loosely:

God created animals and man. They ate plants.

After, AFTER, the flood - they ate meat. Therefore, on the ark, they ate plants.

The Lord was helping Noah take care of the animals, so who says that they had to eat while on the ark? Anything is possible with God. He can change the rules of nature to accomplish what he wants.

And don't forget the koala bears, which could only eat fresh eucalyptus leaves....

And how Noah and his family must have also been hosts to the THOUSANDS of different parasites and infectious microorganisms that exist today, seeing as how evolution couldn't POSSIBLY have created them in the time after the Flood....
