Coney Island water..... how's swimming in it? Dirty?

The water is not bad, I wouldn't swim in it but only because it's too cold. The beach area has been cleaned and you can still get a decent crowd on a nice summer weekend.

Coney Islands doesn't really have a water park. It is basically a giant pool with a few water slides. If you are planning a vacation Kings Island In Mason Ohio has a Boomarang Bay water park and a theme park (but high priced) (very fun) and is only about 30 minutes away, and the beach waterpark is right by Kings Island but if you have young children coney island is nice it also has some rides Your Friend Liz (Cincinnati Ohio)

i LOVE coney island because i've been going there my whole life.
but if you're gonna rate it based on how clean it is..i have to say it is DIRTYY
the water is ok..a lot of seaweed and not sparkling clean..but its still ok to play around in. u can swim in it. but i suggest a pool for that, and also the beach is MAD dirty. but theres so much going on in coney island..music, the smell of food, the sounds of people...i have to say it's my favorite beach, even though it is dirty.
it is RADD on summer nights, especially on nights with fireworks.

The beach at Coney Island is disgusting. The water is polluted and there is broken glass in the sand.
