If so, did rainbows exist before it?

Yes.

The Flood story really did happen and don't listen to anyone that says differently. There is scientific and historical evidence that proves this, it's just that information that doesn't support the theory of evolution are suppressed.

To your second question: No, rainbows did not exist, because there was no rain. The Bible states that a mist came from the ground in place of rain.

When one examines the biblical passages, it is clear that the flood was global. Genesis 7:11 states that "all of the fountains of the great deep were broken up, and the windows of heaven were opened." It is apparent from Genesis 1:6-7 and 2:6 that the pre-flood environment was much different from that which we experience today. Based on these and other biblical descriptions, as well as the fossil record and present geological findings, it is reasonably speculated that at one time the earth was covered by some kind of water canopy. This canopy could have been a vapor canopy or could have consisted of rings, somewhat like Saturn's ice rings. This, in combination with a major layer of water underground, both being released upon the land (Genesis 2:6) would have resulted in a global flood. There are many extra-biblical evidences that point to a worldwide catastrophe such as a global flood.

The vast fossil graveyards found on every continent, the large amount of coal deposits that would require the rapid covering of vast quantities of vegetation, the fact that oceanic fossils are found upon mountain tops around the world, the over 270 flood stories from all parts of the world, and the large extent of geological formations showing vast layers of sedimentary deposits (including those found in the Grand Canyon) all lend credence to the occurrence of a global flood.

Oh yeah, and there were no rainbows.

LETS TAKE BACK THE RAINBOW!

A. Yes, the Bible says so.

B.
This question may only be answered partially!

First, the rainbow covenant God gave to Noah and his descendants.

Thus the conclusion is that from the time of Adam's creation rainbows didn't occur.

How is that possible? The Bible shows that the deluge was caused by the springs in Heaven and fountains in the earth were broken.

(A side-issue: just recently, a huge water reservoir has been found deep under Asia, a huge sea the scientific community stated)

Thus, at least from prior to Adam, this heavenly water cover existed. If it always existed from day one, is a good question. The likely-hood according to the account is high. If it did then there was no rainbow from the beginning of that time until the deluge.

The earths watering mechanism was stated as being different that today's, read it.

Of course it really happened. And no, rainbows were given by God after the flood as a reminder that He would never again cleanse the Earth by water. He didn't say however that He would never again cleanse the Earth.

Getting back to the flood...
Scriptures say that the "skies were opened" which means all the water was not already on the Earth, it fell from the sky. Interesting fact, it had never rained before the flood. That's one of the reasons no one believed Noah.

Did the flood really happen? If you mean "Noah's Flood", there WAS a flood, but as to covering the entire Earth, no, not possible - not enough water on the entire planet to submerge the whole world. However, for what was the "known world" to them at the time, there was a catastrophic flood - there is evidence of it, and it was quite severe.

The flood happened and there was no rainbows before the flood.

God has the power to summon that much water and no rainbows didn't create rainbows until after the flood, and whenevr you see a rainbow you must remember "God will never flood the world again."

There had been no rain on the earth before the flood. People did not believe in rain. The earth was water with underground springs. The springs burst and the rain come.

Rainbows came after the flood because that is when rain began on the earth. Also, God promised it was a sign between Him and man - that He would not flood the earth again.

No. There are half a dozen independent evidences that no such thing occurred, of which the simplest is available to anyone with a shovel and the ability to count: the annual layers of the Antarctic ice pack go back hundreds of thousands of years. A flood would have destroyed the ice pack entirely.

Do you read the Bible? In the book of Genesis it tells the whole story of the flood and rainbows. God spoke to Noah and he told Noah to build and ark. It rained 40 days and 40 nights. You can read this in the Bible.
