Cows burp and cows fart, so do all the other animals.
Cows eat grass and process it into manure, which puts nutrients back into the ground so that more grass and other plants can grow.
People don't produce manure - our waste is not contributing back to the environment.
Plants contribute Carbon Dioxide at two times in their life cycle:
1. When leaves turn brown and fall off the tree or plant, the Carbon Dixoide that was stored in the leaf to be used in photosynthisis is released. It's a small amount, but this does occur.
2. When the plant dies and begins to decompose, it releases all the Carbon Dioxide that was stored in the plant for the purposes of photosynthises.
Plants give off more Carbon Dixoide due to environmental changes because the increase in temperature of the environment makes plants who cannot live in the warmer temperature die quicker and all dead plant matter decomposes faster when it is warmer, releasing the Carbon Dixoide faster. This also produces heat, which can raise the temperature in the exact location of the plant a little bit.
So plants are not the cause of increased Carbon Dixoide levels, it is the changed environment that kills the plants, THEN they contribute to the problem.
It's a big circle, folks, but the behaviour that has changed over time quickest and is the easiest to change again, is the behaviour of people.

Cow burps release methane, but they contribute very little to global warming. They contribute less then 1% of annual methane to the atmosphere. Studies have shown that plants contribute a large amount of methane to the environment, but this is mostly because Global Warming has made climate more suitable for these plants.

Yes it's cow burps and cow poops that contain greenhouse gases. A scientist at UC Davis recently put some cows in a "bovine bubble" to trap the gases and measure them. He found that they only emitted half as much greenhouse gases as previously thought.

Ahh.. Cows farts are no different from any other farts, I don't think. All of them create greenhouse gasses, although it's very minimal.

It's cow burps not farts that release methane into the atmosphere. Do your research!

You dont want to get that close. Believe me.
Cows eat grass and then digest it. Natural byproduct is...?
Stop them eating grass or if we stop eating burgers
Up to us really isnt it?
