We have been to an Endocronologst and everything tested fine (with exception of surgical removal of mass tissue (tumor) on her left thyroid).

Check for a tumor! That is not normal and sounds like Gigantism.

After removing the thyroid tumor, are all tests on the thyroid now normal?

I would get some more opinions and tests done. I have found that some Dr's don't do enough testing and looking into the situation. Get at least 3 opinions from different specialist before just saying "she's tall."
best of luck

weight in the highest percentile of the growth charts for a 7 year old female is 70 lbs and height is 52 inches ( 4 foot 4 inches)
so your daughter is extremely tall for her age but if you or your husband are tall (over 6 foot each) then thats to be expected.

get her rechecked by a doctor

Wow, your daughter is a tall girl! That's speedy growth or you can put her into modeling. Seriously, I think the growing will stop, girls tend to grow faster anyhow, and remember the foods have a lot of growth hormones and antibiotics and all that other junk. I have a 19 year old daughter and by the time she was 13 she was already 5ft 9inches and she hasn't gotten any taller.

It sounds like a doctor needs to adress this issue.

My brother is 12 over 6ft tall (I'm not sure about his weight) and has a big foot... like 11 in men or something... I dont know exactly, but I know he's big for his age at 12, so at 7 a doctor definetly needs to look at her and figure out what is going on.

Good Luck!

Sounds like you have checked with the doctor and your daughter is healthy. So just enjoy her and encouage her to be proud of her height and stand tall. I was always tall for my age (6 ft. now) and my daughter who is 9 is 5'2", weighs about 120 and wears womens size 9.5 shoe. The only problem I have with her size is finding clothes that are age appropriate.

Well she probably just had a growth spurt earlier than other kids she probably won't grow much more when other kids are. I wouldn't be too worried about it just watch what happend with her body and stuff. Because if you treat her differently and stuff then she will feel out of place in the family.

Excessive growth is typically involved with the pituitary gland. Perhaps you need another opinion?

If you go to google and type in pituitary specialist plus your state, you will at least find some doctors in your state that can address this.

my daughter was 5'9 in the 5th grade. She did stop growing but not before she was 6'3 at at 15. I was told girls will grow until around that age , boys will grow until 17-18 years old. height runs in my family most are over 6 feet tall.
