Sorry to tell you this, but if you still have feelings for your ex then you will not get over her with a one night stand, or even a short term relationship. I had an ex that took me months to get over, and I still think about her. Good luck to you, and try to use this time to focus on yourself. Get back to who you really are. Dive into some of your favorite interests. It will take your mind off of her and make you a more complete person.

It wont make you feel better. You'd probably end up comparing the new chick to your girlfriend and then miss her lovemaking instead. I dont think its a good idea. Ive thought about it and just the thought of someone NOT pressing the right buttons as my ex brings me to tears.
Just try your best to get over her without hurting someone else in the meantime.

hell no..it won't make you feel any better to do it if you still love her it will probably just make things worse later on because you never know if things will change and she might want you back but if she were to ever find out what you did then it will be over for sure cuz she'll think that you never even cared and that your just a player. so you need to keep it in ya pants n put your mind on somthin else that you like to do

Having sex to get over your ex isn't really the answer. I can't see how that would help you get over someone either. Plus it's not nice to use someone else for sex like that to get over your ex. You could end up hurting someone. Allow your self some time to get over her. Just go out with your mates and have some some fun. When your ready start dating again and meet someone nice.

...it won't actually and honestly make you feel entirely better for yourself here partner...but it will actually distract you from the thoughts of the exacting painfull mental moments you have been experiencing for yourself here though recently. Surely getting over or under somebody new can be exciting and distracting and somewhat comforting....but it'll never replace the feelings you once had for this mystical magical individual you just recently have lost your experience with accordingly. That stuff takes time and honesty and forgiveness and integrity partner...not a new body under neath you unfortunately. Does this stuff sorta kinda make a little bit of sense to you reasonably?

It depends on the situation. Some people feel better while otehrs feel worse but if you are even thinking about it, just go out there and see what happens. If yuo do meet someone who is game, and it feels right, go ahead but if it doesn't, don't force yourself. Just keep meeting people and have fun. Sooner or later you will get over her.

It wont help, and you may end up hurting the person. Best way to get over an ex is by doing the things you couldn't do when you were together. If I ever split up with my gf I would join the army.

It won't make you get over your ex...and you don't have to have sex do you?Just talk to this person..that's what you need the most not sex..If you have a one night stand it will make you feel even more empty inside...you're trying to fill a void you can't do that with sex...find a new friend to hang out with and talk about it..talking helps..sex makes it worse..
