Dogs are pack animals. She considers you the pack leader, since you are now the primary caregiver.
She probably doesn't understand why she is there, and you are her security blanket. Cut her a little slack, she misses her Mom and/or Dad :)

Sounds like she may have separation anxiety. If it bothers you, try taking her out for some nice, long exercise sessions - a long walk or chasing the ball. This may help wear her out enough so that she sleeps instead of shadowing you.

Maybe they just miss their parents, or maybe they are trying to tell you something. Mine follows me around and I know that she is wanting something, so I just look at her and ask her what she wants. I then follow her around til she directs me to what she wants.

She is uneasy because her owners are gone... and she doesn't want to lose you. It won't change until the owners come back. Just accept it, and try not to fall.

She wants your attention. Some dogs just crave attention like that.

Or maybe she just wants to see what you're doing. We had a pure-bred wolf who didn't really like too much attention, but he still followed us around.

Lol she's worried you'll leave as her owners have. Remember she doesn't understand that her "people" have only gone on holiday , she thinks they've left her. Once she sees them you'll be second best. Enjoy her for now.
