I have a Maxwell 700MB rewritable disk. Cannot copy pictures onto it...don't know how to format...

If you don't know about any formatting programs installed on your computer- insert the blank CD and window should pop-up asking you what you want to do with this CD - choose "format for Drag and Drop. If it doesn pop-up, but you can see the blank cd in My Computer - right -click on it and choose the action from the menu.
Every Operating System is different however, so if none of these works - go to Help menu, and type Format CD

You need a burning program that can do "Packet" writing. Something like Nero or Roxio Easy CD Creator. But you should be able to simply drag and drop your pics onto the CD-RW.

The CD burner program should have an erase or format option.

am guessing u hv win xp,so in dat case jus load the rw in the drive,then open my computer aft this right click the cd drive,then choose "erase this cd rw",thats it,aft this u shud be able to use the cd rw!!
if u still cant ,then there must be sum prob wid the cd!!

Just write click and erase disk.
