So where exactly do you and David Irving think six million European jews dissappeared to? ( Not to mention four million gipsies, homosexuals, Jehovah's Witnesses, Socialists, who also died in the death camps) They were there in 1939 but gone by 1945. That's equivalent to a city the size of London suddenly vanishing - people do notice an absence of this magnitude.

I shudder to say this because some meathead might seize on it and build a theory - but perhaps they were all abducted by aliens? That makes as much (non)sense as anything Irving and the holocaust deniers come up with. Idiots.

By your use of the epithet 'great' to describe this blight on British academia, I presume that you are a supporter of Irving's Holocaust denial thesis.

Get real. The Shoah happened. The evidence (that which has not been tampered with or deliberately mistranslated) is available for all to study,as well as thousands of first-hand accounts from inmates and guards.

David Irving certainly does not deserve a knighthood. What he does deserve is to finish the rest of his time in jail.
