Google Springfield, Ohio newspapers. All of them will have a section on Obituary's

If it is a recent obituary, some of these will likely be online at the newspaper's website. Because you are asking this in the genealogy section, I am guessing that the obituary may have been printed some years ago. The best way to typically go about this is to contact the local library and ask if they do obituary look-ups. Most public libraries will in exchange for a small fee ($2.00 maybe). You then give them the name and the date, and they will see if they can find the obituary in the archives of the local newspaper(s). If they can, they will send it to you, in exchange for your small fee.

Good luck,
Dave

Contact the Springfield News-Sun. They also have a website where you can type in the person's name and obtain their obituary. The website address is:

If the local news paper is online you will be able to read them there, or you could even have them send you the paper by mail if you know the dates you are interested.
