Hi all my son is graduatiing high school on wednesday and i dont know what to get him, so im looking for ideas what can i get him.

Well, I can tell ya what I liked getting for my graduation. If he is going off to college a computer would be a great gift to give. Money is also a good gift because the graduate can get what they want. I got things like towels, gift certificates to wal-mart so I could go grocery shopping (college kids always need money for food), sheets (x-long twin if staying in a dorm), blankets, I even got a thing of toilet paper that did come in handy eventually!! haha!!

When I graduated, my gift was my graduation party....which turned out to be quite profitable :)
Depending on how much you want to spend, there's always the option of a laptop/desktop computer if he's going off to college.
Unless he's smart with money, I don't suggest just giving him cash--he could easily just go out and blow it on unnecessary items.

It depends on how big a gift you are looking for. If you want to get him a big gift get him a car or a lap top. If you want to get him a less expensive gift you can always get him a best buy card:)
And take him to dinner

A card telling him how proud you are, bring him out to dinner afterwards and if you have it, give him some money. That's what usually is done! But it all depends on what he needs and also if he's going to college. If he's going to college, you can add money to his bank account for it, give him a lap top, etc.

Whatever you do be prepared to break the bank! lol
I know when I graduated highschool my mom paid for my pictures($280), my ring ($500), and she gave me $1000 cash. My grandparents gave me a check for $500 and my other grandparents gave me a check for $1000.
So I guess it really depends your budget and if he is going off to college or not. If so, are you paying for college? Then dont give him cash, give him a laptop.

If his plans are to continue on to college, then a computer is just the thing. Laptop's are most useful for this purpose.

When me, my brother and my sister graduated from highschool our parents got us each a computer to "further along our education."

i got a novelity t-shirt and my prom dress. also got my school grad. t-shirt . money was tight. a hug was good and i have never begrudged them for my graduation gifts.
