I want to ask a question to the christians in the US. Do you find living there in the US is very hard, dealing with people. Do you find the rudest people Americans? I live in Australia and find most of the people here easy going. The majority of the rude people that get on here are Americans, why is that? I want to hear from people who do not live in the US and are not American to ask you if you have been to the US and what did you think? I have been 3 times and found them to be so proud and arogant They should all become actors and actress. The US has even aproved gay marrages. How sick. Not saying all Americans are horrible, as there are some very nice ones. Maybe it is the ones that get on here and mock other religions. Has America ever wounderd why they get the most devistating earthquakes and mudslides in the world?

I am American. I think there are alot of hateful and cruel people here, it all started when they took "GOD" out of everything. You cant speak of your faith at work, school, or anywhere without being severely criticized. . . it is awful. And getting on here and mocking any religion is terrible, if you don't have anything nice to say don't say anything at all. Somebody else mentioned about the war - I can not explain why we even would go to war in the first place and I cannot speak for our government(I don't know what they are thinking ever). War just shows that you can't find the words and proper actions to settle a dispute properly, killing is never the answer. It seems like it is always "our way or the highway". The money thing about the war, OMG that makes me soo mad, we have soo many people right here at home that need assistance but they wont help them. Sorry if anybody has been offended by Americans, I will apologize - not all will.

Well i might not be a christian, but i'm sure i can explain "I feel it is my duty as a child of God to help athiest's find Jesus, but whenever i try to help athiest's repent and accept Jesus in to there heart's i get so much hate and anger back when all i am trying to do is help people" As some have said before, this is why you get people angry. You are sure that you are correct, and you are free to do so i do to, however i don't go around telling people that they are wrong. So imagine there is an Atheist is standing there minding his own business, than you go over there and tell him that he is wrong and that you are correct. and if he doesn't believe the same as you he will burn for all eternity and than you try to tell him that you are helping him... Can you not see where this is wrong? Okay so imagine you are walking down the street and a hindu comes up to you and tells you that jesus and the god of the bible is fake, just a fairy tail and that you should really believe in Shiva, Kali and Ganesha and he tells you how ignorant you are and that you should be happy that he is there helping you. How would that make you feel?

I am not an American. I married one, and many of my best friends are Americans. My children are dual citizens. I have been to 48 of the 50 states, and lived on both coasts.

Many Americans are lovely people. They can be naive, ethnocentric, ignorant of the rest of the world and arrogant. I love the landscape there, and NFL. I loathe their choices in national leadership. I detest their governments aggressive, militaristic and xenophobic foreign policy. America has some of the brightest and best minds in the world, and some of the most ignorant hicks.

On the other hand, I'm Australian, and I have seen Australians be every bit as rude as Americans, Japanese, French or any other nation. I despise the Australia that supported Pauline Hanson. I love the Australian landscape, and hate AFL football and rugby. I hate it that Australia still discriminates against same sex unions.

You see a similarity here? There is good and bad in every nation, because there is good and bad in humanity. Have you considered, as a christian, the hypocrisy of complaining about rudeness and then accusing others of being rude? You see, that, in a nutshell, is why atheists will mock christians. Being deluded is tragic, but I can deal with delusional people of any faith, whether it is christian,, wiccan, asatru, hindu or whatever. It is the hypocrisy and the arrogance that riles me. How can anyone be so utterly convinced of their being right and superior on no evidence whatsoever? How can they spout "scripture" whilst simultaneously going against the very thing that scripture tells them?

By the way, the most devastating earthquakes in the world have been outside the USA, in places like Armenia, Chile and China, and the most devastating mudslides have occured in the very christian nations of Central America and the Phillipines. You need to check your facts.

So australlia is better? Is that not arogant? Its not always arogance thats how you see it. I have been all over the world and am deeply interested in people and cultures. Sometimes what you think is rude isn't rude in that culture. Is it not rude to put down a country in public like you have? also the us didn't aprove gay mariage and if they did so what of it? You are mad at us for being intolerent of others. yet we take a step to be more tolerent and you don't like that either? Hard to win with you.

And as far as the war goes always remember if we REALLY wanted to win the war we could. We just don't have the heart to wipe out the whole country. im not crazy about being in the war or why we did it, but i do know for certain if we REALLY wanted to end it we could in a week or so but it would be ugly.

I am not sure what your problem with America is, but you have some real issues.

I am Canadian, go to United States often. I do not see much of a difference, although their truly religious organizations are a little scarey to me, Canada does not have as many, and they are not as loud.

However, Canada is even more of a liberal country than the Untied States, we allow Gay Marriages for the most part in the entire country.

And United States does not get the most devastating earthquakes or mudslides, what kind of news do you watch?

I get along just fine with most people. That's the best you can do. You can never force people to be nice, so just leave them be.

Yeah Americans can be a bit rude. I think I don't realize it so much because I grew up here. But I do know that we can be so arrogant because we think we're the greatest country in the world and nothing can stop us. Yeah, the Roman Empire thought that too and look what happened to them...

In a recent survey, Americans were found to be the rudest people on earth, followed closely by France and then Spain.

I'm an American, and I agree. I have traveled overseas and met others of other cultures...and I always hate coming home. Americans are arrogant, rude, selfish and self-centered. That being said, I still love my country though. Its a tough love.

i am a Christian in the U.S. and i dont find people that rude here. we are just very liberal and have a lot to say, since we can. and its not fair to say that Americans are bad because we approve of gay marriage. its a matter of opinion. I think Austailian Veggie-Mite is sick but i dont say that all Austrailians are sick because of it.

You're getting a taste of "cause and effect" my friend. You speak unkindly of others it causes them to react... hence you perceive "hate". Much of what we think is our perceptions, some of it is projection, and the rest is the fruition of the karma we've sewn.

I'd also hate to break it to you, but being gay is not "sick". Reference the DSM-IV and you'll not find it there.

Learn wisdom, altruism and compassion... those are the logical choices.
