Yes! For a father-daughter dance the dj played the wrong polka, he played a song and the first line went, "I don't want her, you can have her, she's too fat for me!" Everyone got a good laugh out of it, except the chubby bride!!! HAha. True story too.

I went to a wedding where they played Star Wars music in the ceremony. Which, ok, maybe if you are both big fans and it means something special to you. . . but it was a super, super formal wedding, and everything was very classic and traditional up to that point. So it really changed the whole mood of the wedding. Not what they were going for, I think!

We got the super 8 movies on video tape years ago for my inlaws 50th anniversary. Their wedding movies have "You picked a fine time to leave me Lucille" by Kenny Rogers for backround music.

They've both passed away in the last 6 months and always got a real kick out of it.

Two at the same wedding. The first dance song was "Unchained Melody" which is very romantic but it is about being apart, not being together.

Then the brother-in-law of the bride requested "I Wanna Sex You Up" to be dedicated to the bride.

At my wedding we gave our DJ a list of songs to play, and he wasn't supposed to play anything that wasn't on the list. He was also instructed not to take requests because we didn't want anything inappropriate to be played. On our list was Get Up Off of That Thang by James Brown, and he accidently played Get Off (Sex Machine) by James Brown.

My mother went into a panic and told the DJ to kill the song, but he wouldn't listen to her because we told him no requests. My husband ran across the room and got him to switch songs. You should have seen my old aunts getting all upset. Looking back it was pretty funny.

Yeah, I was at a wedding once where the bride and grooms "song" was Garth Brooks', When the Thunder Rolls.

Huh? It's about cheating! Needless to say, the "union" was over in less than a year.

I always hear the song White Lines by Grand Master Flash. It's about snorting cocain. Seeing my Grandma dance to that is a little weird.

Any Tom Jones song. Gives the impression that you're on a bingo gala surrounded by a bunch of old ladies.
