pleas give me relevant info on how usa is helping in the protection of the planet against global warming

The USA developed the science and technology and manufacture of

wind turbines - ( 1920's American West water pumping, aeronautical industry for propellers)

solar power cells - one word: NASA

nuclear energy - not one person has ever died and few even gotten sick from American nuclear energy production...........even counting Three Mile Island...the US Navy has run reactors for a total of 4,000 years w/o ONE accident........

scrubbing of CO2 and Sulfur from coal burning power plants

standing firm on making developing countries....China to be the number one producer of CO2 in two years..sign on any international agreement instead of being given a pass to continue to pollute the planets air

Emission inspections on vehicles most states and i think california is the toughest. hasnt really done anything though because people by pass them if they have to. and its just extra money out the window like many other things here it doesnt work. Most people drive new cars not 1970 cadillacs.

We just upped gas mileage standards for the car industry...

I'm not sure that it will help global warming, but it will lead to decreased use of non-renewable energy.

They have created researh programs to design more fuel efficient cars that run on ethonal, hydrogen, eletricity, algae, and biodiesels.
