Rosacea is a chronic dermatitis. It progresses with time to the point of showing capillary veins and even zits.
The illness, is caused by a genetic predisposition on individuals of white origins. Other researches look at it as an humoral immunologic reaction, and others thinks of it as a result of some type of infection. All of this without any pain.
Things to avoid; exposure to sun, high levels of stress, climatic changes, alcohol (specially red wine, beer and white wine). You should drink lots of water. It's not a cure, but it helps.
There are some centers here in Europe that treats it with laser of pulsed lights at high intensity. Some cosmetic centers are seen good results by using ultrasounds.
I have taken some courses in cosmetology. Many companies are concentrating in providing save products to people with this problems.
I really hope this helps you.
Ps. It is also known by the name of couperose...

This is a disorder of young and middleaged adults ,cause is unknown and it appears to be a disorder affecting the blood vessels of the skin of the face ,rosacea only affects the face.It may affect all or part of the face . In early stages there may be an exaggerated flushing of the face in response to heat ,certain types of food or to emotional stress ,patients are advised to avoid spicy foods ,alcohol strong tea and coffee as these can cause flushing of the face . Later going on to form pustules and erythema .
The natural history of rosacea is variable but it tends to be a chronic disorder persisting for a number of years then disappears . There are several treatments ,available from your doctor which can alleviate the problem but must be used for some time .Sometimes the eyes can be involved ,if this occurs it is best treated by an eye specialist .

This may be one of the best kept secrets around but this is what you need to do. Use Formula 1 minus the toner of Mary Kay's skin care.
It is very gentle and gives your skin the moisture it needs and doesn't irritate the condition. Rosacea can be caused by hereditary, food allergies, stress and some environmental factors. There are no real cures for it but I have two clients who use this and have far less redness and fewer outbreaks because of it.
Go to Marykay.com and put in your zip code and find a consultant near you and you can send an email or call the consultant and they can give you samples for a week and you can decide if it is something that can help you. It will cost less than $40.00 for the Formula 1 line and the information she can provide will really help.
If you would like go to my site and give me your address by email and I will send you the samples myself and the info I have on Rosacea. marykay.com/lisaparlee
Good luck!

Rosacea is a common skin condition that affects many Americans, but it can also spread to the eyes and cause a constant gritty, burning sensation.
I have dry skin and have fought with rosacea all my life. I have been in search a product that works on my skin, I am now 37 and I finally found it.
I use the ZENMED Skin Support System - Dry Skin and I saw results in days! I recommend it to anyone who has suffered through various dermatologist prescribed treatments

There is no cure for rosacea. The person is stuck. Not only does it cause blotchy red skin on the face of the sufferer it can also lead to an enlargement of the proboscus (nose). Jimmy Durante, W.C. Fields and J.P. Morgan were famous people that were afflicted. I have it!
