I think you should pick an artist that you genuinely love, and if possible, one that your father does too. My sister and my dad danced to "These are the days" by Van Morrison, a favorite of both of theirs. I liked it because it wasn't a cliche father/daughter song that everyone else dances to at weddings.

What a Wonderful World by Louis Armstrong is a classic. Some other good ones might be:
Wonderful Tonight - Eric Clapton
In My Life - The Beatles
Feels Like Today - Rascall Flats
I Hope You Dance - Lee Ann Womack
The Way You Look Tonight - Frank Sinatra
Daddy's Hands - Holly Dunn
You Raise Me Up - Josh Groban

Dance with my Father is very beautiful, but I think it is too sad for a wedding. (it's about a dad that has died).

I danced "Isn't she Lovely" The title may sound a bit self-centered - but it was written by Stevie Wonder about the wonder of the birth of his daughter and the lyrics reflect that. It's also a little more upbeat tempo - which I preferred.

Butterfly Kisses, in my opinion, is too overdone - and therefore reached the ranks of cheesy.

PS - Just listend to the John Mayer song - that would be a great choice too!!

A song reflecting your love and bond with your father. I suggest the following:

"My Little Girl" by Tim McGraw
"The Wind Beneath My WIngs" by Bette Midler
"Butterfly Kisses"

I used "You Don't Have to Let Go" by Jessica Simpson. It was a song she wrote for her dad. I just thought the lyrics were very appropriate for my dad and I, the first line is

"I don't need your strength anymore cause you have made me strong,"

the first time I heard it I wanted to cry because that's what my dad has always been about, trying to make me capable of standing on my own two feet.

I have not seen this at a wedding yet that I have been to, but John Mayer's song "Daughters" seems like it would be a good father/daughter dance song.

Butterfly kisses is a good one too.
