I think they display more love, kindness, compassion, and respect for creation than a lot of us Christians do. We could learn a thing or two from them.
Also, I never really encountered a Wicca or Pagan until this website, and I am pleasantly surprised at how great they are. They seem so much less confrontational than other Christians, atheists, etc. and provide a lot of good insight. It's funny that sometimes I find myself agreeing with them more than agreeing with other Christians. People may have bad impressions of what they would be like based on the media and misguided Christian impressions but in the end it's best not to judge until you've actually met someone of those beliefs. I really do hold the utmost respect for them.

When I was a Christian, I beleived that any belief that was contrary to the bible was wrong and would lead a person to hell. I did have some experience in the occult before becoming a Christian, and did not approve of some preachers preaching sermons about how pagans and Wiccans worship the devil and all the misinformation some have.
Today I encounter Christians who respect my path as a pagan, and others who try to convert me and say I am going to hell because I have rejected Christ. Most churches believe that Christ is the way, the Truth and the Light and all other ways are of the devil. That may sound mean to someone who has never been a Christian, but is in line with what the bible says. According to the bible which Christians read and believe, pagans are hell bound and evil, I of course do not believe that as a pagan myself, but as a former Christian I do know what scripture says.

I had my doubts about Wiccans until my next door neighbor told me she was a Wiccan. I always assumed the whole black witchcraft thing going on. But, we had some great conversations, both of us learning about the other, and I came to have a great deal of respect for her and her belief system. The philosophy of do no harm, and the belief that all will come back to you threefold really shaped her and her family. They were great people! She was even quick to admonish those who called themselves Wiccans, but would set up to harm others through spells and rituals. As for any other group, I can't say.
While I personally think it is the wrong path for me, she was a grown up and had made her own decisions and it was not my place to tell her she was walking down the wrong path.
We even joked about the hereafter.... told her I would be watching her and her reincarnations from Heaven, and was going to want details of exactly what she did wrong when she shows up as a cockroach!

As non-believer I have more respect of people who are Pagans and Wicca for they do not force their ideas onto others and do not try to convert people.

I personally won't condemn anybody who is a Wiccan or belongs to another religion, however I won't encourage them either. As a Christian, I believe it is a sin to practice any form of witchcraft, spell-casting or fortune telling.
If being wiccan makes sense to you, so be it, but Christianity makes sense to me and I choose to believe what the Bible says.

I think what you're going to find is that there are some kind christians who don't believe that we're evil and satanic etc.. but you will find the major theme is going to be "they're misguided".
